Exhibition of ideas for the ICC Berlin conducted by the BDA, League of German Architects (2005)
On the occasion of the discussion about the demolition of the ICC, the League of German Architects presented new ideas for alternative uses in an exhibition. Our proposal integrates new, flexibly useable halls with views to the exterior on the current large lobby areas along the facade. The access is rearranged along the centerline of the building by new atrium openings, assuring separated access to the various new halls for events with different lessees running parallelly. An entirely new, contemporary MEP concept completes this contribution to the ongoing discussion, showing a possible way for the ICC into the new century.
